Rexpeed A Pillar pods

So did you have to drill any holes in the OEM pillar to feed the lines?

This was answered a few times in other threads, but YES. There are no existing holes to route the wiring for the gauges. Im going to remove the a-pillar totally, epoxy the Rexpeed onto the oem pillar and make decent size holes on the back of the oem pillar to route the lines/adjust gauge position..

The holes is the easy part, routing the wires behind the pillar is a PITA. Slightly OT but best place I found was to route down to the floor board then under that little plastic flap it goes out, into the fenderwell, and pops out right at the top of the fender near the fuse box. That's how I routed mine and it worked great.

Looks good! This will definately be the pillar I get should I decide to go this route. It is an attention grabber that is for sure, but I am not too sure that is what I want. Can't beat the price though!

You're right, it is an attention grabber... one of the main reasons I don't want to get it. There is only 2 gauges I need to actively see... Boost and AFR. I have my boost on my steering column, so I just need one more. I think I'm going to grab Rexpeed's carbon gauge pod for the pillar. I think that will show up less.

I run this. Fitment is less then a 100% which is usually the case with Rexpeed products but you get what you pay for. Looks decent and it works for being the only A Pillar out there. When something better/Cleaner fitting comes along I will be all over it.

Just installed mine yesterday. I will say that it actually does fit better than most suggest. I think it's all in the installation. It is very difficult to install the pod with double sided tape because as soon as you try to put the overlay on, the first piece of tape it touches obviously tries to grab it. You have to be patient and "wrap" the overlay around the stock pillar. I'd say this piece is definately worth the money compared to spending double for something else.
