Homemade Carbon Fiber Look Shift Boot
Homemade Carbon Fiber Look Shift Boot
After reading the thread about how to make your own shift boot here I thought why not give it a try.
I had some leftover carbon fiber vynil fabric from my old job. This is pretty thick fabric with a weave that looks like carbon fiber. I didn't have a sewing maching, so someone just convinced me to just get a needle and thread and go for it. Well apparantly it's pretty easy, since this is my first time sewing anything. I think it turned out pretty good. Took a couple hours for everything, but R & R of the console was easy, the sewing took longer than anything. Martha stewart, eat your heart out
Plus it's "carbon fiber" so +15hp right
The vynil fabric stuff was purchased by my old work, so I don't know where to get it, but I'm sure you can find it online?
