Im done with power mods for the time being, pretty happy with 400hp & 375tq at the crank already and wanted to play safe with the SST.

Definitely. It makes a huge difference in daily driving because the throttle lag is non-existent. The effect of throttle response you get is even greater than putting ITBs on my previous H22 motor on the honda.

No rubbing with 265 tires, fender work not required.

how did you measure crank torque/hp? just an estimate based on wheel?
