I'd say wingless to draw less attention from the pork chops. But I think that ship has long since sailed with your wheels. LOL

Plus, the X looks hot without the spoiler.

Wingless FTW

1. "technically" less attention from cops
2. " is that a evo?" , no its not, o $hit it is....
3. more visibility in the mirror...

If I'm not mistaken isn't the JDM RS wingless? I thought I saw pics of it without a wing.

How useful is the wing for the EVO?

Has anyone looked into the aero of it on the car vs off? I seriously doubt the weekend warrior is gonna notice a huge difference in traction without it... But hey, prove me wrong.

Wouldn't going wingless attract more attention because you actually "modded" your car by taking off a factory part? Intuitively, that means you'll attract more cops because it's "modded". Stick with factory and leave it on unless you imported a RS version with the no spoiler option straight from the "factory".

Actually wingless may make cops not look at you more because now you look like a regular Lancer instead of the super quick EVO version.

Just my 2 cents.

I'm going wingless to save weight and cause it's tacky huge. Plus has anyone been able to show that it's functional?

Standard model refers to the smaller dinky spoiler on a Non-SSS packaged Evo. So yea huge spoiler is functional.

When does that aero actually apply? What speeds? Just curious how applicable it is to a DD versus a track day.
