What did you replace the stock shift boot with??

The evo x interior is flawless with the exception of the shift boot. It looks cheap, ugly, and the material used seems to come from a used seat cover from my grandfather's 91 renault chamade... so my question is, what have you guys replaced it with? pics if possible?

gracias amigos

Homemade carbon fiber (not real CF) Vynil fabric. Posted pics in my thread called "homemade shift boot" or something like that.

Such a little change and it makes a HUGE difference to the look of the interior.

I wouldn't say the Evo X interior is flawless...

...but I agree that the stock shift boot looks like a cheap piece of crap.

I ended up getting the over-priced (not even leather) T1R shift boot...and at no extra charge comes with a way over-sized cable tie you'll end up either not using, or cutting off later and replacing it with a smaller one like I did.

I got it in black leather with the quad stitching, white on the outside and medium blue on the inside. Topped with a burnt titanium shift knob and it makes my OB X look great!
