Scratches are tough with drcolorchip. They are shallow and you tend to work all the paint right off. It is awesome at colormatch though, and no blobs. You will have a slight clear coat raise, but no one will ever see it.

 

It's okay if you got "gap insurance" from what I recall, because I had this situation with my Mazda Rx8 and I had full coverage so it was considered as "No-Fault" so they gave me like $4,000 to get it fixed up.
My insurance didn't go up, just the time taken out for my car.
But yes, I hate Haters. I'm watching out for my Evolution. :-P

 

sad to see.. i now how these feel... my car have been broken into and hit and run quite a few times and i dont live in a bad neighborhood, not a rich neighborhood but not a bad one.

****, i feel your pain. mine has a 5" down to the dark metal scratch and a 12" across 2 doors clearcoat scratch. my car's 2 months old. i parked it in a nice neighbourhood too.

i upped my vandalism insurance when i got mine- it was a few extra bucks a month for $100 deductible
