So far

It will be complete next month. More Colt Speed and ARC, and the Samco radiator hose in white.

I have a slightly O/T question...

What is the point of the engine cover? Is it just for looks or does it actually serve a purpose?

That particular one is supposed to dissipate heat, but I got it for looks. I think it looks a lot more complete than a valve cover.

Reason i asked is because the JDM ralliart cover is a lot smaller than all these other ones. I figured it would be able to release more heat without a cover being over the engine.

Here's a shot of my engine bay... nothing much...

The MIVEC wire to the exhaust sensor in the rear will need to be cut and extended in order to tuck it correctly.

Will cutting the MIVEC wire and extending it mess with the voltage running through the wire? I know for the o2 sensors, it would ruin it.

Anyone know???

Cut it, extend it, you'll be fine.

Just make sure your connections are electrically sound, maybe include heat shrink tubing on both sides and before you seal the heat shrink tubing on either side, use a multimeter on resistance (ohm) setting (pull negative terminal on battery first! never measure resistance on a live source!). Measure from the exposed OEM wire side to the other exposed OEM wire side. If it reads 0.1 ohms, you'll be absolutely fine. If it reads more than 0.1 ohms, your connection sucks, rinse and repeat.

PS: if you use that same meter and measure the ends of a cut of bare wire and get more than 0.1 ohms, your multimeter's leads are corroded or has frayed wire or something's wrong...
