Feedback requested! Dark Tails!

So I decided to darken my tails. We'll see what the police have to say about this soon enough. But for now, what do you guys think of the finish of this?

P.S. - I'm thinking I should do the bumper reflector's too but it's getting late and hard to see in the dark, plus I have to get up at O'Dark:30 tomorrow.

Still much brighter than the 6v brake lights on my 57 vw, but then again I got pulled over for them all the time.

I'll never understand why people do this, but to each their own...

way too dark and matte, you're taking away the beauty of the lights.

It does kind of look weird without some kind of shiny clear coat but I think it looks hot on the car.

Did u unscrew the lights from the car and spray them elsewhere?
