You mentioned about the SST limit, how much power are you putting down with your mods?
Here in Shanghai we cannot even run any dynos (tuner's dessert......). So I really don't know the whp and wtq exactly.

I have asked HKS' Japanese tuner to fly to Shanghai to tune the EVC, V-COM, and IS after replacing the camshafts. He said he has already tuned to the SST's limit by accustomizing to the poor gasoline quality in China. There are similar tuning being done in southern China and they claimed to have 360 hp and 48kgm. I have no way to verify.

Hey Steve,

your ride looks great Thanks for the pictures.

I've sent you an email... I don't know if you got it.

I have some questions to you Can you tell me if the BLITZ Controller really makes a difference with the SST to improve the response ?

And another question: You installed a Turbotimer from HKS and I'd like to do this also but on the turbotimer harness from HKS always was a notice "NOT for SST" ! Do you have any experience?

Yes indeed. Originally you need to manage the throttle control in better way (I have 20 years of driving experience) to make SST more responsive at low rev. This controller enlarge the signals and thus you can make your throttle control a bit mild to achieve the same result. So nothing rocket science but it does help a bit.

I don't noticed that as I just asked my tuner to put them on for me. Not heard of the difference between 5MT and SST myself. The only problem any turbo timer would have with X is the keyless system.

Yeh you are absolutely right!! The skills you need here are extremly different in navigating an EVO in such uncivilized jungle.

Thanks a lot for the information I'll test the Blitz Controller

You're right I think the problem with the MR and Turbotimer is the keyless go ****
