you will not be the first...i've seen it done a few times. i believe there is actually a thread on white stockers. white evo 8 wheels is really nice looking on some colors.
i'm with this guy. i like the idea, but just not those wheels.

 

Didn't ask for anybody's opinion... except maybe of the photography. The wheels are +32 offset which is even more aggressive than stock. The tires I'm running just ruin it. It's not a permanent solution, and the really dumb, negative, and short-winded comments are indeed really annoying.

Durrr, looks like rice to me! How do morons like that even afford the insurance on their Evo? That caliber of people usually work at Burger King... how the hell does that pay for an Evo?

Anyway... carry on, I'd rather hear about the photos since I don't really care to hear how hideous you think my car looks.

The wheel powder coating was not done by him... it's actually pretty poor. My stock wheels I'll have him do this same color, along with my next set of mesh wheels.

I really want these (https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ipop-blue.html) but with candy lime green centers.

+1 for doing what you like and not caring what any one else says. Tint your windows and it will look great.

 

I like the look but I think your logic is flawed in most of your responses to haters. You're taking constructive criticism very poorly, but I guess that's just my opinion.

Also, look at your engine bay pic... am I the only one who sees Takata green? Might be the lighting or the camera, but that sure does look as Takata as Takata green gets. Do a little comparison test by opening the Gates Evo pic w/ the green wheels and compare with the color in your engine bay pic, looks very close.

Again, that might just be lighting and/or camera, don't know, don't care.
You didn't ask what people thought of your photography in the entire first page of this thread, you just presented your blue and candy lime and said flame suit on... what are we to expect?

 

I cannot fathom driving to a parking garage for the sole purpose of taking pictures of my car, that I know will get some negative comments, posting pictures of said car, and then defending my choices for going on two days.

It's like going down town, hiring an escort, and then taking her home and paying her to poke you in the head for 2 days. And by head I mean cranium, not... yeah, you know.

Thanks, I'm buying a tint kit, 35% all around, for xmas... Nobody touches my car, so it's one of those things I've been putting off to do myself. I've never done tint before, so I'll undoubtedly screw it up at least once.

It's not even close to Takata green, and "that looks like rice" isn't even close to constructive criticism I actually took all of the constructive criticism in this thread very well. I've got a new set of wheels lined up and everything, and I agree the current ones are crappy fitment, but I'll get them flush here soon and with some wider tires.

I actually took the photos for myself... took about 30 minutes in total to take them, and edit them. And I'm much better off because I have some excellent pro-quality shots of my car at this particular stage in his life. It's called being bored, and is none of your concern I've spent a total of maybe 20 collective minutes on this thread, not a great loss IMHO.

And the last guy... yeah, you're just an idiot, but you already know that I'm sure nice gimmick.

...I see the rear window looking like crap to be honest... I have a similar mentality where if it's within means I'd much rather prefer doing everything myself. Nobody will take as much car with your car as you will, ever. Good luck though... when you throw in the towel, have a reputable tint shop do your back window.
