id have to agree with you. i like the blue and i like the green but the wheels are meh and the combination is definitely meh. definitely should have went with wider wheels/better offset. i will add the pics are nice though.

It looks nothing like Takata green. What are you people smoking?

Takata green:

Same angle on my car:

It's not even the same hue...

And some people are forgetting this isn't off-topic. *cough*

I never said the wheels looked Takata green... not sure if anybody in this thread even said that... all I've seen about the wheels are comments like "yuck," "horrible offset," "crap wheels," "what are they 18x7?" and "ricer."

It's the same color among the wheels and engine bay, and the photo isn't accurate. You know how I know this? Because I drive the car every ****ing day.

There have actually been more positive comments than negative. I've been counting.

I actually have somebody arguing with me that my engine bay pieces are Takata green when I ordered the powder myself and watched as my friend powder coated them for me... is that for real? It's kind of similar to Takata green, but about as similar as Octane Blue is to Sonic Blue. They're COMPLETELY different colors.

lol... we've said plenty of times that it's probably just the lighting or the camera, but it LOOKS Takata green.

You went ahead and counted negative vs positive comments in this thread but don't care what anybody thinks?

It's still different in the photo. Take a chunk of my coil cover and move it next to the Takata green wheels (I'm too lazy). It'll be a completely different color. It's just your eyes.

And I did count out of curiosity...

Positive - 21 or 22, can't remember
Neutral - 12
Negative - 7

Thanks guys, I'll post some photos again once I have proper flush fitment of these wheels and some 255's on them.

Did you look at the comparison above? Yeah, the color looks soooo different....

As we've said already, and you chose not to read, it was probably the camera and/or lighting and angle.

Ok dude just shut up. You're now arguing with the very guy who powder coated the lime green pieces in my engine bay. He shoots several exotic colors every day and he knows the difference between Takata green and candy lime green. Anybody with a good eye can tell those greens are different by the photos. The only way they look the same is because the blue in Ryans photo isn't normalized like mine is.

Just stop arguing. You're neither accomplishing or contributing anything by continuing on. You're only proving that you are capable of arguing with people who have had first hand observations with your 2nd hand observations. Aka you are being a ********. Mods feel free to close this thread. I'll start a new one when I get new wheels.

lol you're just getting overly aggressive about the topic. You asked to see them compared side by side and I did... why do you keep forgetting that I've said it's probably a different story in person or that the camera or lighting caused the difference in color?

I was just giving constructive criticism on your picture-taking by saying it looks Takata green, giving the effect that you weren't originally going for obviously since you meant for it to have the lime green on blue contrast. How is that not constructive?

Oh and very mature on the "just shut up."
