After modifying my Evo VI mirrors the other week i was pleased with the end result, visually and in function but ............
They just were not different enough and i have always liked the DTM/Ralliart style ones that look so right on an Evo, but no one does anything vaguely like them for the X
So i bought some universal ones and set about them with the grinder and hacksaw!!
After a bit of test fitting, some screwing and filling i ended up with just what i wanted, painted in textered plastic paint to match the J panels, and other RS black bits i think they turned out rather well
Vision is much better with regards the ability to see a kerb or apex which with the standard ones was shocking
Tinted anti glare lenses to which is nice
Original bases hacked off....

Thanks for the comments, like them or loathe them they are far better than the O.E mirrors,from an obstruction point of view.
I would rather Mickey mouse than Dumbo
