Evo X MR Recaro Leather Seats

I was wondering if you can actually just buy the skin (or whatever you would call it) and just remove the ones that we have on our GSRs and rewrap them onto our seats instead of just buying the seats themselves. It would probably be cost-effective wouldn't it, but could you even find them anywhere? I like the ones that are on the 2010 MRs rather than the 2008s had.

If someone can help me find these that would be awesome.

There are a couple companies that sell leather seat covers like that but I'm not sure if they have offerings for the X yet. I tried emailing one of them but didn't get a reply.

yeah i want the exact ones that the 2010 MR have. I saw them at the Chicago Auto Show yesterday and thought they were pretty sexy.

it's gonna be a custom job for sure. if there's anyone out there selling it, it would be replicas (quality notwithstanding).

that said, i've been contemplating between that and waiting for a chance to snag some real mr seats...

Mits sells these ones with a Ralliart logo, but they are like $1400 i think. Look good though.

I'm assuming those seats were done by a local upholstery shop?

I'm thinking of having that installed and then have an upholstery shop replace the front perforated leather with grippy alcantara (or equivalent).
