Hey you can use the plastidip on the turn signals. I believe I read that its transparent, almost like a tint. Also I'd only bake them for 5, that all i had to do.

Really interested to see how they turn out! These are mine https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-x-show-shine/368000-made-my-phantom-black-little-more-phantom-blacked-out-headlights.html .

Once you get them out of the over (I baked mine for 15 minutes to make sure it was real hot), you need to pull/pry the front and back apart real quick. That stuff cools down fast.

I've done these a long time ago and they're holding up perfect. Never used epoxy. Just put everything back into the over to re-heat the seal. Once the seal was hot, I just pushed it all back together.

Whats up Mo? Carl from Home Depot this afternoon. Did this project start today? I saw you had a few pinch clips in your bag.

these are the wires that i took out befor i put the light in the oven...

no turning back now.

it was a PITA and confusing but i took apart the internals..

plasti dip is the greatest invention!!

vht nite shades on the amber, everything else is masked off. gonna plasti dip the chrome once the nite shades dries.

ill put this light back together tomorrow. ill post pictures then. stay tuned!

Update!

Ok so everything is pretty much dry now so i snapped some pics.

i ditched the nite shade on the reflector becouse i didnt like the way it came out. the parking amber light is nite shaded though. looks good to me

due to a slight imperfection on the main ballast housing im going to respray it. while it dryes ill take apart the other head light and get to work on that one. everything should be done by tomorrow!
