At this time I can not perform these conversions through shipping, and I also do not want to get into the whole "sponsorship" thing here on the forums. These conversions are primarily for local NTEC members, unless you want to fly me out there.

very nice man i guess thats what i get for slacking on getting the video up

Im assuming you added additional leds between the primary 3 plcc-2's? At least that is what i did. I hooked them up to a pin out through the connector in order to prevent any lines burning out.

Was about to post my vid but your iphone's video quality blows my blackberry out the water

All I can say is great minds think alike.

As far as the theme goes, I originally wanted the entire gauge to be blue with redline remaining red. However due to the blue LEDs, the redline part ended up appearing as if it was not lit up at all. Both Acree and myself agreed that it didn't look good. After that, he figured out a color scheme that might work and I thought it would look great as well. So hence an all blue gauge ended up being blue/white/red. I have to say it looks just staggering. I'll leave it up to Acree to chime in with the details.

Thats very doable just takes up ALOT more time. You would need to place an led behind each individual number that way for redline you would be able to throw in a faint white led to illuminate it without much if any color bleeding.

cant argue with that bortha

I originally fabricated my own board with 6 leds on it that fit in the shaft tunnel. The light was ok, but wasn't bright enough using 0603 leds.

In the end, I ended using the stock bored with ZERO modifications.

I'm a huge fan of that color changing tach needle. If you don't mind divulging your industry secret, I'd love to know how it was done from a curiosity standpoint
