Dry Carbon Doors

Guys,

highly thinking of taking the plunge into a full dry carbon door kit,

factory door trims fit, glass etc or at an extra cost a dry carbon door card can be supplied,

However thinking should i just paint them so you don't get toasted by the local law supporters.

they said total weight is about 45pounds.

considering the weight of the factroy door is close to that each

Which company makes dry carbon doors?

I wouldn't paint them though, such a waste.

Yeah, i wouldn't paint them. IMO, i would leave the doors how they are, but i don't think you want to do that.

I would paint them, however leave some sort of detail or signature, your name under your window unpainted, so that way you can show it's carbon or take the stealth route and paint it entirely that way nobody but you knows you have a 150 lbs weight savings.

Went out and had a look at the R35 doors they finished,

i have to say i am very impressed on the quality it even had the Nissan logo on the inner door card as it was a direct copy with mounting points and so forth,

and your right should leave just a hint of carbon...no different to when a chick wears a really smooth dress with a great split.

good call.

i will go ahead i think.

I am sure they charge a grip for those doors, haha. Let alone if you need them ship! :X

Def paint it. I'd only consider doing this if it's a track car, or if I had thousands of dollars to burn.
