hey guys, haven't been through in a while. this picture really spoke to me though, so I felt that I had to stop in. this looks like crap. the car on the left looks great. the one on the right looks horrible. great side by side comparison to really show how bad this looks.

 

I agree it looks really bad when you put them side by side.

 

when i saw this thread i had no idea what to think, i thought it went against the nature of the evo to put a viii/ix wing on the x, but i have to say i think i kinda like it, althought i do wish the base of the spoiler would compliment the width of the car more, but hey, it looks a hell of a lot better then the oem one

 

i was the opposite. seeing them side by side made me like the 8/9 wing better. eh when i get some free time, i'll try it out and post pics. if i don't like it, i'll just go back to wingless.

 

so what are the modifications that need to be done to the trunk or does it bolt up...

 

Depends on if your EVO has the high or low wing. Mine had the low non-sss package so I had to fill a hole on each side and drill a new hole on each side.

 

I was so going get an evo 8/9 spoiler but it sure doesn't look right any more lolz

 

Good taste is obviously a matter of opinion and the fact that your shooting everyone elses down just makes you look like a jack ***. To each is own, state your opinion and leave it at that.

 

looks nice but its just looks right on the 8

 

no bad, but the stock one looks better on the x

 

I dont know why i didnt ever think of this, I think the X looks way better with an VIII/IX wing than the original X wing.

 

side by side comparison shows why the X wing should stay on the X and the IX< should stay on those cars. looks terrible on the X's

 

Need some pics of this on a WW Evo... I'm seriously considering doing this :O
