looks gorgeous, but will that flake off with the engine temperature we see under the hood of an evo 10?

I'm pretty sure they painted it with heat resistant paint. Over the years it may flake or dull but not very fast hopefully.

Think about the heat at your brakes. Other than the white turning brown the paint on the brembos stays pretty good.

The red will look pretty darn nice.
