Guy was an idiot for denying it when you found the car. Instead of just manning up he get's a hit and run. Serves him right.

Glad ya got it fixed man.

The owner of the red car is clearly an idiot. You can see the points of contact on the evo match up with the ribbed design of his rear bumper. Not to mention the red paint.

I felt really bad for you when i read the 1st part of the story.
I like to park far away from other cars in parking lots as well for obvious reasons and do not want to be confronted with a situation like that at all.
But its inevitable i guess.
I'm also reaaaly glad it worked out.

I'm an approach controller myself, maybe we'll talk to each other in the future.....there's a US Forward Operating Base located here.

Glad you got it sorted out and the guilty party was "found guilty". It sucks how people have no regard for someone elses property and are not accountability for thier actions.

You're lucky if the cop wrote the guy a ticket and you get your deductible covered. I had to chase a jogger down who ran into the side of my car, broke the fender, dented aluminum hood. The perp was 20 something who was "training" and couldn't remember his new address -- just moved in with his girlfriend to a new apartment (duh, no renters or homeowners insurance) and even told the cop that he couldn't remember his work phone number. I'm out the $500 deductible I'm pretty sure. "No fault" says the claims agent, but still, added injury to insult hurting my Evo.
