You took the trouble to put it all back to stock but you didn't take the trouble to take the time slips out of your car?

wow i would take them to court in a hear beat. you can argue the point also that if they look through the time slips that a STOCK evo X doesn't run 12's so that wasn't the car being used and no proof even if it did. with the bolts thats a alittle wierd also that they are going to void DRIVETRAIN warranty over bolts used on the motor another argueing point. also you can sue them for the time down of your car. i would go on Kelly Blue Book and find the difference in value of 1 year in a evo x since thats how long it was down for and sue the for the difference on top of it. since the value dropped of the car and you didn't even get to drive it. sue them for the WHOLE year of insurance you paid on the car. and then sue them for them for the extra gas you spent cause you had to drive a barrowed dodge ram 1500 hemi that only gets like 14miles to the gallon ;-) just to get extra money from them for screwing you around... then sue them for court fees, and lawyer fees........ total i bet you could come up with probably 20-25k to sue them for...

you might think i sound crazy but if you go in there and win maybe 2 or 3 of the things i mentioned above you might actually make out on them. plus their not going to know what hit them in the face cause their only going to expect you to go for the 4k for the trans.

might think i am crazy but if it was me i thats what i would do. might make an extra 20k for parts and just extra money in general.... if you go through with my ideas it would be appreciated you send me like $200 for helping you out a ton lol

I have been told so many times to get a lawyer but in my eyes I see a lawyer costing more money and its not 100% guaranteed I would win. If theres anyone else out there that has been in a situation like this and has won please PM me and if I win I wont send you 200.00 but I would seriously send you a present in the mail for your car

You know the only thing I see wrong with this thread other than your grammatical skills is that you do all this work to your car and then **** it up and want the dealer to pay for it. Again YOU **** it up and want them to pay for it again. Im glad you got stuck with a 4000.00 bill. This is why its so hard to get warranty with mitsubishi. Cause of morons like you. And then you whine about your car being dirty...

Ive modded the hell out of my car. The only thing I went to the dealer for is a Airbag Cel reset. Im willing to pay if I screw something up.

I dont mind paying for the tranny myself because in the long run I would of had to do the diff pin work anyways, I'm not upset that they wouldn't repair the tranny but upset that this issue isnt noticed by mitsubishi. I'm sure you wouldn't be to happy if your storage bill was out of this world and the windows were left open....

why is this in show and shine, it should have its own section called "venting and frustrations" or maybe just in the General Section.

Also if they weren't going to fix my car then I would of took it home that day not let it sit there for a YEAR!

Correct me if I am wrong but there are other threads like this in this section.... ? There are other threads where peoples motor/trans/etc. failed and a rebuild thread followed....?

Then whats the issue ?

also, mitsubishi wanted to keep the car for further investigation and I guess "negotiation" so it was easiest for it to stay there. Like I mentioned I was unaware that they decided to then charge me a storage fee. It's also ironic how once I said they will not be putting the trans in I receive this letter about a storage fee
