How to remove writing on FMIC?

How to remove writing on FMIC?
whats goin on everyone?
I've noticed alot when ppl go aftermarket front mount intercooler it is often coverd with writing of some kind.(ams/agp/arc)
I am more into a clean look, not trying to show off IMO.
My question is , is there anyway to remover the writing from it?
I've thought of painting over it, but ive heard that was bad, that that may clog it up some how maybe idk?!?
Any and all help you can give would be great, thx again.
