i tried that but the links were bad on the ark design website

and no that is not true for boost. you can read boost through the obdII port, so nothing extra is needed to read boost. i was able to just plug it in and monitor boost (in bar not psi) and A/F

If your trying it from the Arkdesign website it wont work you have to register and wait for an email with username and pssword to get to the exclusive website.

and boost from the OBD port is good to like 1.0 bar or 15 PSI i think the etra sensor takes you to 2 bar or 30 psi...

Quick question. just wondering how you hardwired the unit to get power? I was using the cigarette lighter but I recently installed a pioneer headunit and now i get no power to the MFDII so I am tried the unit in another friends car to make sure it was not broken and everything powers up and works fine through his cigarette lighter. So i figure my issue is that my Cigarette lighter does not have enough power to run both...any help on how to re-wire this to make it work?

i used an add a fuse from Auto zone, then used my multimeter to find a fuse that only got power when the key was turned on. im currently using the cigarette lighter/12v accessory fuse.

Are all those extra sensors necessary? I know the boost sensor is added to read higher boost, but what about the oil pressure, water/oil temperature? Would the MFD II read those directly off the OBD II port?

Thanks

Eric

Hello guys, i just get the mfd 1 for my evo 8 than i'm running 30psi, i have a aem A/F wideband, boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure and egt gauge all separate, do you guys know if the mfd can be as accurate as the singles gauge? how i will connect the A/F to have wideband, also if you hook it up the boost pressure from the ecu it won't be as accurate you need right?

oil pres and temp you need the extra sensors. the MFDII does not display those readings without the extra sensors. Water temp it will read from OBD port.
