Was surprised how different my evo looked after I put on my new trunk

Amber side markers and Oem window visors will go on after I tint the windows tomorrow. Just waiting on my HKS Kansai Service dry carbon fiber side spats, got 7 more weeks of waiting for them to arrive. Then I gotta figure out something to cure my 4x4 stance !

 

Call me a boy-racer, but I love the wing.

 

^I'm with him on the wing. I think the wing makes the car look much better.

I like wingless on some applications. The way it sits now, I agree that it lacks something. With some wheels, an exhaust, and a drop, I think it'll start to look better. Debadge that bad boy too.

 

I like the wing for its functionality and it started to almost grow on me until it kept blocking my vision when I drove the car on the weekends. Eventually I decided to give it up for something sleeker. I was torn between doing the mr touring trunk or doing the do luck trunk to get my rear view vision back and went the do luck route to add some flair to my simple exterior mods.

 

Without the high spoiler the evo almost looks to simple thats why I left the badges on for now. I think once I put the other mods on the car, the car will get some of its edge back but I agree at this point it looks like something is missing. I gotta wait to get some miles on the car before I mess with the engine, the suspension thou is fair game and will begin to upgrade that next

Did the trunk lid come painted or did you have to get it done?

 

I had to get it painted, just got the car back today. Paint was matched perfectly looks like it came stock.

I prefer wingless. No use for a wing below 100mph.

 

i like it! looks good. how much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking? also, i see you're still running the oem advans....how does it feel with the colder weather we've been having?
