New pics and updates.
So, a little update. Pretty much everything I did here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...cs-reveiw.html has been removed. Minus the DEFI, and the AMS catback. Which sounds awesome! If you don't want to speak to your passengers lmao. Prolly gonna have Chad fab something for me.
I had an 8, that Chad at CBRD had done work on for me in the past. Traded her in on a '10 X MR, only made sense to take her back down there. Had Chad put on some Fortune 500s(more on these later) and some Rotas(Wheeldude is totally awesome), while it was getting a baseline done. 227whp on the CBRD heartbreaker i believe, one day Chad will give me a dyno sheet lol. Mostly accounting for horrible boost leaks from the intake pipe and oil catch can I installed, according to manufacturer instructions I might add.
As I was going to be overseas for a year, Chad found it in his heart to keep her for me, FOR THE YEAR, and make her the dirty girl I knew she could be.
How she started.
Zoomed out for those who are interested.
How she sits now. Not a great pic.
The old man admiring the work of art that is now my engine bay.
Said engine bay.
Manifold close-up.
Stripped the rear down, was hoping for a matching red CBRD right there lmao. Detail work was top shelf. Inside and out.
Fortunes being installed. Subpar parts, subpar customer service, IMHO only. Gonna get rid of these for some HRs after i'm back from Asscrackistan.
Flawless showroom and garage.
The monster aka. "the TA". Which CBRD is having an event for to support Wounded Warrior, get in on that!
So, long story short. 424WHP, 380TQ. Chad will have to back me up on that. During the shakedown, as I was banging gears, which it does not drop boost or power at all in between, I look over and my old man was laying on the floorboard praying. Couldn't be happier, except for the ****ty clunking suspension. As a helicopter mechanic, there is no better work I could have imagined for an automobile, really aviation grade. All the details are there. As a weekend track junky, holy f'n crap. Can't wait for the clutches and bottom end redo next time lmao. 600? 700? For those that want the more details, i'm going to direct Chad to here.
Short list;
Synapse 3 port EBCS boost controller
Vacuum Hose for 3 port
OEM Exhaust Manifold Gasket

nope, but again just my opinion not a gripe thread, "custom" valveing seems off, more like random valveing, and after replacing one of the front shock bodies (the new one was differnt than the old somehow) the horrible clunking or looseness is still there
