hid options for evo x with sss

hey guys, i recently got back into a 2011 evo gsr with the sss package..my question is about the hids, are there any other options as far as bulb color for the oem hids or is it possible to get an hid kit from ddmtuning. i have a brand new set of ballasts so all id actually have to get are the bulbs. thanks in advance

thE SSS package includes HIDs. If you wanted a different color bulb, all you have to do is upgrade the DS2 bulb, no ballast change needed. I have the 6000k bulb and it looks like natural white.

Yea all you need to do is buy some different color D2S bulbs. 6000k looks really nice to me as the OP said.

I wouldn't try any Ebay bulbs because I heard they can fry the ballasts..

Phillips is awesome, but expensive.

8000k are pretty awesome in my opinion.
Plasma Garage has some decent prices on bulbs currently

Anyone here have pics of stock, 6k, and 8k bulbs on an evo x? This might help the OP and many of us who are looking to change the color. Thanks in advance!

correct they are 4300k. Be aware that any aftermarket bulbs you buy are gonna be dimmer than the stock osram bulbs.
