Advice needed - APR front lip install

Hi,

Just got around to install the APR front lip today. The lip requires drilling 6 holes towards the front of the bumper edge (under the black plastic part). While I have no problem drilling them, I just can't get the self-sealing lock nuts (example http://www.apmselfsealingfasteners.c...aling_nuts.asp) working. Basically the bolts go in from underside and nuts go in from inside the bumper. There's not a lot of room to work with and I can manage to get a small wrench to hold the nut while trying to screw in the bolt using the other hand (my drill doesn't even have enough torque). The damn thing is so tight that I barely managed to screw in one with lots of elbow grease. On the second one I got frustrated a bit and end up stripping the bolt. Took me another half an hour, vice grips and wd-40 to get it out.

So with cuts on hand and sore arms I decided to call it a day and ask for some advice here. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not to be attempted with hand tools?

I will try to take some pictures if this sounds too confusing

Thanks in advance

I contacted APR and they are sending me some new hardware. I think it's not about having enough room - APR's own instructions didn't mention it. I took one of the bolt and nyloc nut and just tried screwing them with 2 wrenches (me sitting on a chair, with full force lol) and only manage to screw the nut half way..

Anyway, I was told new ones should be better. Mad props to APR for their great customer support btw
