Turning The Cheapest Exhaust System For The Evo X Into A Custom One

I decided I wanted to make a custom exhaust that wouldn't break the bank, so thats exactly what I did with the help of some friends

I started out by finding the cheapest exhaust system ever for the Evo X. I was originally going to make it all from scratch but I had no way to bend pipe and I didn't want a harsh non-smooth flow so I opted out of that. I was really surprised to find a system so cheap and the wields are good quality and it comes with a resonator,

not bad for $269 bucks but at the same time, you get what you pay for haha.

Here's the link to what I bought: http://remixcustom.com/08-11-mitsubi...ls08tr10d.html
In total I probably spent $700 Bucks which includes the ****ty catback system, the Megan Racing M-Spec Mufflers, and other things.

Like this: wtf were they thinking??

Also the fitment was terrible and after one day the mufflers had already melted a hole in my diffuser

My Poor Diffuser is now part of this piece of ****

The flange that comes with it to connect to the Cat or test pipe is 2.5in so I cut that off and wielded a 3 incher on

Then the next thing to do was cut the ****ty muffler's it comes with off and wield some Megan Racing M-Spec Muffler's on

Now on to Wielding

Had to change the angle and exit of one of the muffler's

One Muffler Wielded on and fitted

I had a lot of fun making this custom system and with the right tools, anybody can do it! I also ordered Varis Exhaust Heat Shields to cover up the holes and protect it from anymore.

Finished product:

Not bad! I've something similar with my Supra. But I would have opted for an HKS Muffler. Definitely something to look forward to if I pick up a X.
