Just bought my baby last week. Def fun to drive, but should have thought twice before buying it and using it as my commuter vehicle, this baby drinks like crazy! I love the way it looks and feels! Only one bad part to the car, damn 2 to 3rd gear theres a Crunch! doesnt happen all the time but does get annoying lol

 

That notchiness when shifting happens in just about every X. It's normal. Sometimes it goes away with time.. A lot of people, myself included, use a short shifter and weighted shift knob and base bushing- and/or change the tranny fluid. It actually helps a lot.

I did both and it helps ALOT in my case. I don't really have a "crunch" as you say anymore. Car looks great by the way. Hope you continue to enjoy it. Yes, gas and maintenance get expensive, but it is a blast to DD- I do it myself.

speaking of changing tranny fluid. Shep himself says to change it every 10k miles. Thats been his success with preservation
