My Apex Silver GSR

I figured I'd post a picture of my Evo while I'm trying to scout places to do a photoshoot. This is just a crappy iPhone picture right after I detailed it. The paint was clayed, polished, and waxed. The wheels and tires were cleaned up, and I dressed the wheels with a sealer to keep brake dust from sticking. The car looks amazing all over, but this photo does absolutely no justice. I'll be using my SLR for the actual photoshoot.

The car is bone stock aside from a boost gauge. Eventually I'll be upgrading it when I pay off my bills.

Thanks! I can't decide on what wheels to get. I like TE-37's, but everyone here has them. Work wheels are too expensive, also. The biggest consideration I need to make is strength. The roads here are never cleaned or repaired. I should just get some steelies with some rally style tires, because the roads here are worse than Baghdad.

What do you spray on the rims to keep the brake dust off? Does it work well?

Good to see another AS. I believe we are the rarest besides the orange (rotor glow?)

Yep. AS Evo 8's & 9's are very common but X you hardly see them. Every time I see a X it's WW

Sonax Full Effect to clean them with Aquarts Iron Cut. Then I wax them with Swissvax Autobahn. They stay clean for a long time.

A sealant will work better than a carnauba wax at repelling brake dust. However, you will still get a ton from the Brembo's. It will just be easier to lean off.

True, but anything with PTFE or other nonstick properties will work well.
