Evo X Full Car Wrap

Hey guys,

I have looked around the forums but cannot find a thread about the pricing of a full car wrap in SoCal. If there are any good places with good pricing could you please let me know?

Thanks in advance

I don't know how much they cost but 90210 Wrap. They've wrapped Lamborghinis, Ferraris, M3, AMGs etc.

Ever think about plasti-dipping your car?

I know it sounds ghetto but when done right it comes out quite nice and way cheaper.

That's not a bad idea, I've actually plasti dipped my white MR vents and they turned out pretty good! But I'm looking for a dark gray matte finish and my friend suggested I wrap my car but not sure how much it costs...

It would probably be in the neighborhood of 2500 dollars.

Woah so that's around $1700-1800 for labor? Because I looked up materials and it's around $700 for the wrap

I was quoted 1500 labor 800 materials here in WV. So 1700-1800 labor in CA is probably spot on.

This. If you're not doing any fancy custom designs, the matte colors from plasti-dipping are really nice when done professionally. I received a couple quotes in the past on a partial wrap and they came out to around 800 USD. You can fully plasti-dip a car with a small fraction of that amount.

Do you have any good examples of plasti dipped cars/evos? And if possible any in the matte gray I'm looking for?

And also how long would a full plasti dipped car last compared to a wrap?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...os-thread.html

Thats the thread on plasticdipped evos.
It last just as long as a wrap but its easy to repair compared to a wrap and you can dip your car alot of times before you reach the price for 1 wrap.

and if you go to dipyourcar.com it has all the colors you can get for the dip.

Oh that's a good thread, nice stuff on there. But a few weeks ago I plasti dipped my MR vents and they came out with a texture that isn't flat like paint. Maybe I'm doing it wrong (coats are not uneven, there aren't any bubbles)? I wouldn't want to put this stuff on my car and regret the way it feels/looks up close

The feel is always going to be rubber cuz thats pretty much what it is. The texture is in how you spray it. If you go one youtube you can find suggestion on how to spray it so its smooth. I have done my rims and emblems and they are pretty smooth for doing it with a spray can.
