I just got a Flossy Heavy-weight knob. 400+ grams. I love it. They have spherical or rod style and they do custom engraving.

I have the Blox spherical knob, and I love the heaviness of the knob. Also, blox was the cheapest of all heavy knobs.

Most of the metal knobs do get hot/cold. I used to keep a 1st gen ipod sleeve in my car to slide over the knob when it was too much to handle.

I had a delrin knob that had no issues.
