I had a Flossy knob...never again. Chips too easily and the shaft/sleeve seperated early after purchasing. Needed to lock tite it to prevent it from happening again. Just ordered the moddiction textured black to replace the Flossy.

Also own the Blox 490...very nice but will burn your hands if not covered and left out in the sun during the summer.

Mmm, I think the spherical one is better. Personal opinion, really, though, just choose whatever YOU think is right for YOUR car

I've got the Coltspeed GT shifter in my MR, and two knobs
one is the shop-pink Cruise Improve Craft
the other is a Top Secret solid aluminum that I modded to fit the MR/Coltspeed

I have the interior package in my car so it comes with the aluminum knob. It feels a little weighted but I'm sure not as much as these other knobs. But the knob doesn't really get hot. Is there a weighted aluminum knob available?

From Mitsubishi? I dont believe so.

And for it to be weighted the knob would have to be made out of something like steel with an aluminum casing as aluminum it self is light weight.

It's definitely heavier then the stock black OEM shift knob but will feel light when compared to the above discussed weighted shift knobs. But living in South Texas, a shift knob that stays cool is a must which is why I like this OEM one. I'm just curious if they sell aluminum shift knobs (for the stay cool factor), but add weight to them (so they are heavier then the OEM aluminum knob)?
