ACD Shield
ACD Shield
I was under the car and taking off the bolts that hold the ACD pump onto the base, greasing the bolts just because. since i was under there i thought of putting my plan into action.
held by the OEM screw upfront and OEM push clip on the back.

Similar question I have yet received an answer. Cold or not I don't think I've heard of a ACD pump going bad without corrosion to the pump itself. So my question is relatively close to yours, but I want to know IF storing the vehicle during winter snow seasons would help prevent this issue. Or people that live in the areas where it doesn't snow and salt isn't used on roads.

Supposedly the main thing that causes the pump to fail is in the winter, the fluid gets very thick from the cold. A pump that keeps trying to pump highly viscous fluid will fail faster.
Another option is to disconnect your AYC pump for the winter
