2min Away ordering a Vortex Generator.. Help?

Hey guys, i got confused the last minute because of rexpeed. On the NON SSS and the actual SSS it says the same thing in the description. It says that both have the 2 humps on the side. I guess the NON SSS's antenna is 5x6cm and the SSS antenna is 5x9. Well.... i dont have a sunroof or leather or HIDs. Do i have a SSS? or NON? I believe i have a non. For the dumb *** question in case your wondering, It's because i just bought a evo X 1 week ago and im still new to the game on this X but, I absolutely LOVE exterior modifications like this.

Thanks Guys.

There are 2 variables. 1 you already mentioned and that is the antenna size. 2 is whether or not your roof is Flat or has the two ridges running longways at the outside edge over the doors.

I see Rexpeed finally posted the flat roof VG . Been a long time in the making!

Yeah when i had my Evo X i bought a rexpeed carbon fiber VG. It will stick with the double sided sticky tape but the corners are gonna want to pop up, what i did was used a windshield weather strip apoxy from the autoparts store and stuck some directly underneath the corners. After i sat some heavy books on top to hold it down for about 8 hours to dry completely. If it continues to pop up reapply and do it again. Im sure others have used something different or maybe they had ones that fit perfect, but my Rexpeed def didnt fit perfect.

Oh i didn't know that. That explains why bettle_orange said what he said lol.

Wow... that's some strong tape! I hope!

I have waxed my roof since i bought the car but i have avoided waxing in that specific area because i knew i would order a VG one day. I was curious if i can use "isopropyl alcohol" on the paint to clean the area before applying the tape?

Random Question: Does anyone know where i can find the chrome trim around the shift gear box that the ralliart has? I'm looking for it in the evo's interior. Maybe it's called something else and that's why u can't find it.

Just use soap and water, dry really well before applying, also with the rexpeed i had to grind it out a little bit to fit over the antenna. Also the corners will try and pop up which is why i used weatherstrip apoxy to hold it down.

Just use alcohol wipes on the area the double adhesive will be put on. I have had my vg for going 6 years now and it's still there last time I checked,

Does anyone have any idea what kind of tool i should use to shave this a little so it fits around the antenna? Any advice would be great appreciated. Should i just use a file? Sand paper? how did everyone else shave this so it fits?
