how to verify authenticity of varis parts?

Someone local is selling a varis bumper for very cheap, almost too cheap. Is there a way to verify it's real via a stamp a or engraving of somesort?

Old Varis items weren't stamped or marked in any way, but the quality of certain things will stick out. The mounting tabs are pretty thick and the prongs used to hold the mesh down are thicker. Additionally, there won't be much finishing work done on them, they will be white gelcoat (smooth to the touch) for the top of the bumper and black gelcoat for the lip.

Additionally, if he can prove where he bought it from initially then you should be good to go. Kaizen, Bulletproof, DSG, Evasive, they all sell legit Varis.
