Thinking about de-badging?
The weather was amazing today in the midwest for once, so I decided to go give the car a well deserved wash and finally de-badge my trunk.
Now, I didn't take pictures of how to do it, since I'm pretty sure there's already a how-to guide on this. But I took some single strand dental floss, not the kind that has the the minty strip twisted together with the other white strip. And just slide it back and forth like cutting some butter with a wire, and boom. No emblems.
Now I took pictures before the process and after each one was off so you can get an idea of what it looks like at each stage to see if it's something you want to do!

I have a WW Evo also i did what you didi in these pictures take of the badges one by one to see how it looks i ended up just going clean and actually don't regret it cause each time i see my trunk i think how clean it looks without the badges
I must be the only person on the planet that likes the factory badges on these cars (I've always liked the Mitsubishi emblem) lol.. although I will say that I do like the "Evolution X" right in the middle if you're going to remove the others, as it looks very balanced and symmetrical!

One nitpick about the big evo badge done above. the top of the "V" lines up with "OLUTION" and the bottom is supposed to be lower than the rest of the letters. Only the "E" is taller.
There was one thread where a guy installed it the right way and everyone flipped their **** that he 'did it wrong". LOL.

Yea, I remember reading that thread and thinking "have these guys even looked at the evolution badge on their car before?"
If you look at the evolution badge on our cars, even the oem one has the E and V lined up the correct way, it just looks weird when you increase the size and it becomes more noticeable.

People are so dumb. I'm going protesting.
Wno cares? Seriously. No one wants big *** badges that are not lined up. It's that simple. Who cares if the Evolution wasn't lined up correctly on our little evolution badges because it was the "correct way". When the size increases it is more noticeable for OTHER people that don't own the car or know anything about it and literally thinks you are a dumb *** that cant line up a badge. Bottom line, Line up the badges to make it look like a actually word.

Besides if you're worried about what non owners think, then be assured they think your Evo is no different than this in the first place.
