Enkei NTO1 powder coated BLACK 18X9.5 with 265/35/18 tires (275's will work too)

 

How many inches has it been lowered? Any guesses?

What were the results of testing the car out at Willow?

 

1:30 stock tires/wheels +catback this is with rear sway and coilovers...prob. the cheapest 6 seconds you will ever find!
motortrend got a 1:36 dead stock pre-production and a 1:34 for a stock IX
(they went back later and ran a "32" in the true production "X" and the same "34" in the IX

 

Was that Streets or Big Willow?

What are your overall impressions of the car after some track time?

 

More data points — Edmunds ran the stock Evo X and IX at Willow (Streets) and got:

Evo X MR (pre-production) — 1:32.42
Evo X GSR (production) — 1:32.51
Evo IX MR — 1:31.89

 

Sooo, any info on how many inches that Red X is lowered?

 

Damn that red one looks mean as hell when dropped. Thats how they should look stock.

So Robi, you are saying you can now fit a 275 on a 9.5" wheel under the stock fenders? Rejoice! No more tire stretching!

1.95" front 1.35" rear

yes 275/35 or 285/30's no problem under the stock sheet metal NO MODIFICATION NEEDED or 295/30/18 with 10.5" wheels with fender rolling
