Well, purchasing rims is coming up right around the corner therefore we must talk about offset. yay!

Things to consider:
The car is used for DD and a rare occasion track use.
Drop on BC Coilovers
My rim size will be 18 x 9.5

What is everyones opinion of +20 vs +12

Then, What tire size should I go with?

I still want to be able to make wheel locked turns without the rub, but I don't mind rolling the fenders at all...

+12 (Thanks Logan, glad you are on your 543543 set of rims, send me some why don't you)

+20 (Thanks Steve, your car looks great)

Well I'm new to the Evo so would you have to roll the fenders to not rub on the +12? Bc I know Steve sid he had no rubbing issues on on the +20

I would do the +20 on the CR Kais, just because the +12 and the +20 have the exact same concavity. That way things are easier, and you can run wider tires than if you did the +12. These cars have TONS of room, which is awesome. Thats how I was able to get away with the +12's and wide tires.

Funny comment about my wheels BTW

Thanks Logan! I just really like how your +12's sit really flush. Now if I could make some +20's do that, im game!

I like the +20 better too. if the 12 had a more a concave face then I'd say go for it, but i dont like how much they stick out in relativity to the same face of each wheel. I like it to look flush and not stick out personally. And like Logan said, you can run a wider tire if you prefer.

I would go with +12 offset and 255s on 18x9.5s

and 265s on 18x10.5s

fender rolling isn't a big deal to me. Make the car looks good is.
