Recommedations on Drop Rates with Coilovers, GSR with Aero
Guys:
Just bought my KW coilovers for my Evo X with Aero package. Just wondering, what drops would you recommend? I am not planning on doing any drag or autocrossing.
I have seen 1.25" in front and 1 inch in back.

With the Eibach I am 1.2" front and 1.0" rear and my front lip went from 5.5" clearance to 4.25" clearance. So far as long as I am carefull around big dips on driveways I've managed to avoid hitting the ground so far. Much lower and that chance would go up quite a bit and parking garage inclines would start to become troublesome depending on design.
You also may consider how low it goes with 3 other people in the car, say an extra 450-500 lbs may drop the ground clearance another .5" or more. I guess it depends on how much convenience you are willing to sacrifice. Bottoming out or ramming the nose into the ground never feels good.
