what spring compressor to buy?

Hi I have a Craftsman gift certificate. What would be the best spring compressor to get to install a pro kit or coil overs in the future?

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/search_10...ing+compressor

Thanks.

no compressor needed for coilovers.

And if you live a bit dangerously you could just borrow the one from autozone if doing springs. I did my scion that way and lived to talk about it!

I've got the ones that say strut compressors and they work ok. You can even use them for the rears. I don't remember where I bought them for but it was way cheaper than $60.

Free. You put a deposit down and they return the deposit to your card when you return the tool.

One time I rented this big socket (for a cam or something), threw it in my toolbox and promptly forgot about it. I took it back like 2 years later simply out of guilt and they returned my money!

When I install the swift springs on my Evo I rent the string compressor from Kragen Auto. It works fine for me.

$8 dollar a day for rental.
