Coilover Install Cost...
It is a lot simpler than doing springs, since you're ripping everything out and replacing it with brand new.
FWIW, my mother recently had struts and springs installed on her WRX Wagon for 75, including alignment. Thought that was a decent deal. From a "how hard is it" perspective, new springs+struts isn't any more difficult or easier than a coilover kit, really.

My best choice would be to install it myself and then have a pro shop corner balance it and align.. If you do not corner balance a coilover you will loose soo much performance the car will handle like ****. One wheel may even come off the ground under regular cornering

DIY!!!! Not hard at all, you'll save some good money on labor. You'll learn something and you'll get that good feeling of doing it YOURSELF instead of someone else taking your money!!! You feel me!?!
And $400 bucks is a JOKE!!!! Striaght Joke....!!!

If I had a place to work then I would have done the install myself but it's winter and I don't have a garage.
