Thats not bad. Especially if they're going to corner weight them and the such, but I doubt they will for that price. Regardless they can be a pain in the **** to get each corner set at the proper height.

It's really quite an easy install though and I'd recommend you doing the install yourself and taking it to a good shop to get set up and corner balanced.

Install and setup up to your liking? 400 for just an install alone is a rip. You can easily install it w/help from a friend in probably 2 hrs give or take. Go to any tire or suspension shop and have it aligned after.

That's what I thought...They put coilovers on my 350Z for $275. I was not there to take the car. My son drove it over there. He said it is more difficult because of the rear coils are hard to replace. I'll have to find a DIY and give it a go myself....thx guys...db

For a stright install Robispec charges like $100. To install coils, alignment, and fender rolling I was quoted $580.

Installed BC's on mine in 3 hours (total time incld jacking ) and had the ride height by the next morn (its annoying to set, let it settle, ect, but worth it imho). I'd say give it a whirl at home in the garage before someone does something you wont like-and you have to give them $ for it....

Install them yourself. It's free, you learn something, and you get the satisfaction of doing an install on your own.

you need a wheel alignment after that, so include that one in the install cost too.
If you never did anything like this before, DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF.
Leave it for some reputable suspension shop or some where, where they do wheel aligmnets also. SO it can be done at a same time. Maybe will be cheaper that way the whole process.

Darin at West End Alignment (one of the best) charges $150 for CO installs. IIRC, the install, alignment, and corner balance is $375.

the correct way to do it is to corner weigh the car, this alone will make the coilover worth it, are you going for correct ride or just looks? because if its looks just get springs, if your looking for a correct ride YOU MUST CORNER WEIGH, also don't go cheap, the good ones start at 2k and up.
what are you really looking to do with your car?

Note: I'm not an expert, but I listen to experts for stuff like this.
