Fender rolling
Fender rolling
Hi,
Am looking to roll the rear fenders to fit 265 tires. Can someone help confirm that the Evo X rear fenders are NOT aluminium like the front? HAve heard that aluminium tends to 'ripple' when rolled....
Thanks!

On the evo's, try using a hammer with a T-shirt wrapped around it.
Get a heat gun, warm up the area so the paint doesn't chip.
took about 1 hour each fender, and not a single piece of paint chipped.
If you do use a fender roller, aluminum or not, just take your time. do it slow and small increments. You'll be fine.

haha...I see. I guess that changes things. The fenders are aluminum though. Just take your time rolling them with a heat gun and rolling tool and you should be fine. The frustrating part is the rubber liner on the edge of the fender which will peel off when you roll the fender.
