Fender rolling

Hi,
Am looking to roll the rear fenders to fit 265 tires. Can someone help confirm that the Evo X rear fenders are NOT aluminium like the front? HAve heard that aluminium tends to 'ripple' when rolled....

Thanks!

I don't know if they are aluminum or not, but mine are rolled and they are fine. My fronts are rolled too with no issues.

On the evo's, try using a hammer with a T-shirt wrapped around it.
Get a heat gun, warm up the area so the paint doesn't chip.
took about 1 hour each fender, and not a single piece of paint chipped.

If you do use a fender roller, aluminum or not, just take your time. do it slow and small increments. You'll be fine.

You shouldn't need to roll your fenders for a 265 width tire.

Am running 18X9.5 +20 rims with a drop that I can hardly put a finger in between the tire & fender

Currently still on slightly stretched stock 245 tires and I get rubbing with a fully loaded car....

haha...I see. I guess that changes things. The fenders are aluminum though. Just take your time rolling them with a heat gun and rolling tool and you should be fine. The frustrating part is the rubber liner on the edge of the fender which will peel off when you roll the fender.

I have 265s with 18X10 Advans +25 and Eibach springs. I'm having zero issues. FWIW
