I was running Eibach sportlines on my Focus and loved them. I didnt find them "bouncy" and the stiffness was a good match for the SVT dampers.

I think people just hate on Tein to be honost I have owned them on the last two cars (99 SI and 04 S2000) and never had any issues with them. On the civic they were on for over 2 years and then I switched to Tein SS coil-overs to go lower and liked them (though I wouldn't recomend them to someone who tracks alot). With the S I ran them for almost 2 years and ended up switching to KWV3 coil-overs (I would recomend them to anyone they make one great coil-over set-up for the street and track!)

i dont know why tein has such a bad reputation on race enthusiast when in fact it is a famous brand and they have been in business for a while. i already was planning on buying them after i saw the pictures on how the evo x would look like on them, now i'm having second thoughts on this springs. eibach is really my first choice but the pro kit drop height is not much of a difference compared to the stock, oh well, i guess i'll just have to wait for the sportline. if ever they think of making it.

For some reason the pictures don't look like the ST's gave a huge drop....? Is it just me? I have these on order and am hoping that I get a pretty aggressive drop... hmmm

I had the Eibach Pro-Kit on my eclipse GS-T for like 3 years and it just went to ****, sagged and sucked. I switched to tein s-techs and 5 years later they were still fine.

i read some where on here that people where complaining that the quality of the eibachs has gone to ****, inconsistant coil widths ect ect.

Never had a problem with tein, i will use S.Techs on my X

The S in S-Tech stands for Stylemaster, if you read Teins on description of this you will understand that they are going more for looks then performance. That's why you'll read about people saying they blew out their stock shocks, or have poor ride quality. They are designed for carpet queens or VIP cars IMO.

The same goes for Eibach Sportlines.

Eibach Pro-kits are generally designed for better performance, but don't drop a car as much as Sportlines or S-Techs. Your call.

You guys sayin the Eibachs dont show much of a drop are crazy. It drops it almost 2 inches in the front.. The rear would look lower if my car wasnt gutted.
stock..

Eibachs..

I have Tein S-techs on my MR and the ride is great, not too soft not too stiff. The stance is nice and im on the stock BBS's, but I wish that it would be a little lower IMO. I know it's a little too soon to see how long these springs are gonna last, so I guess i'll just have to wait and see.
