should i keep the strut tower brace on my MR?

i bought a used MR with a front strut tower brace. i know mitsubishi charges $500 for this option and its my understanding that on newer cars they're unnecessary. grassroots motorsports actually made there testing wrx slower in an auto-x with a front strut brace. this new chassis is super stiff, do i need it? can sell it to someone without one and have more money for some crack....

The rear brace is the option. The front brace comes on all Evos. I would leave it. If it didn't help, do you think the engineers that designed the Evo would put it there?

all evo Xs come stock with the front stut tower brace. It should be flat black with a bracket in the middel with two bolts. Keep it in place, like previously stated if it wasn;t needed the engineers wouldn't have put it there.

I know of people that take it off so you can see their aftermarket turbos better. Pretty stupid reason, I know.

is the MR bar bigger than the GSR or is the same? Does anyone know if the Ralliart one is a bigger bar as well?

The ralliart one isn't the same as the one on the MR. There is a center portion that sticks out that connects the middle with 2 bolts.

Any strut bar that connects to the fire wall is better than one that does not connect to the firewall.
