Depending on where u drive, more spokes, more chances to chip any wheel. They are quality wheels, but you can't avoid all the rocks.

all the "chips" 5 of them are in the same place and the wheels are only 10 weeks old. The fact that they are in the same place on the wheel is a little strange!

I'm going through the same thing and the rims are a month old. Pretty disgusted for the price we pay for this stuff. I suppose if your running 9 inch wide you could be kicking rocks from the front tire to the back rim. But I have some chips on the front rim too.

I have the same problem with my Advans. They're 10" wide so I bought them knowing I'd be kicking up my fair share of rocks towards the back of the car, but it still sucks. I wish Advan had some kind of touch up paint. Anyone find a paint that matches their dark gunmetal color fairly well?

All my buddies with Advans, in any state always have chips in the paint. I really noticed this with the RG line of Advans. Any of the wheels where the spokes stick out slightly will get that doesn't matter what brand wheel.

I have 18 x 10 Advan RZ's and they do the same thing. It drives me nuts. Advan really does need to release some touch up paint.

Chips on the front rim is from rocks and debris, Ride a motorcycle with no gloves or helmet on the highway and you'll see what I mean...
