Brake pics

I took a couple of pics with the Giro Disc 2 piece rotors on my car.

rear

I didnt get a chance to weigh the stock 1 piece rotors, or the new 2 piece ones. But I can tell you that the stock rotors weigh a ton. Even the rear rotors are heavy as hell. I will defitnetly weigh them and post the #s here..

Girodisc FTW!

Very nice! Did you get new pads or replace the fluid with Motul by any chance?

Hey man, those are really nice! I saw where you picked those up in FS and you're lucky. I'm jealous.

I think for the Evo X the most brake upgrades anybody needs, who isn't building an all-out racecar, are SS lines, pads, and 2-piece rotors. I mean come on, we have 13.8" front rotors stock!

I think I'm sold on these. I think I'll save for some and maybe have the center hats anodized or powder coated for aesthetic reasons.

Still using the stock pads. But changed the fluid to Motul, and also changed to stainless steel braided brake lines..

Now with these 2 piece rotors. The car accellerates quicker. And stops alot faster with excellent brake feel. Not to mention the suspension being more responsive now. Due to the lightness of the new rotors..

Probably another reason I chose this blue for my X... I've always LOVED that color on the Viper GTS. Absolutely awesome. Since I was a kid.
