Need an input on Brake Pads

Well, it's time for the pads to be changed and I definitely want to stay away from extremely dusty OEM pads. I was looking for some ceramic brakes and came across the Hawk pads but haven't really read a review on them. Just wondering where I should look and where to purchase from. I do not want a pair of Autozone pads though.
PS: My car doesn't go on the track so I won't need anything in that category.
Thank you

I've already read the Mod's post on recommended brakes but there's just a list, no review, no imput on how they handle...

I put ceramic brakes on my BMW 540i but didn't really like the feeling but not sure if it was just the brand of the pads.

if you don't want dust your choice is the Girodisc Magic Pad... but you're going to be sacrificing stopping power.

If I choose not to go with ceramic, are there performance brakes that are less dusty than stock?

For daily driving, I went with the ET500 series produced by Racing Brakes. Modern Automotive Performance (MAP) sells them. Significantly less dust than the stock pads, quiet so far with 1,000 miles on them, reasonable price, and much better initial bite and feel than the stock pads. To prevent squealing with these pads I found it essential to use a high-temp brake part lubricant on the back of the pads and on both sides of the shims. I used a high-temp lubricant (supposedly can handle up to 3,000 degrees) by Permetex sold at Pep Boys in packets that look like ketchup packets.

I agree with the other posts about the Axxis Ultimates. Good initial bite for a street pad but way too much black dust.

Herd the Endless SS series pads (front/rear) are good for the price. $200 for both. Good for street, but would fade heavy under track like conditions.

Anyone know what pads have excellent initial bite under most temperatures? As well as do not fade much for something like autoX and maybe like one track day?

Tall order huh...

Ferrodo 2500/3000?

Endless Pads?

Im a fan of the Endless MX72's, Bite very nice on initial press, and don't feel like they fade under heavy breaking. But there pricey for front and rears.

Speed Element carries them, check em out.

I had hawk hps onmy srt4 and I hated them. Sure they don't dust much but they didn't bite hard at all.

Thanks for the heads up I will look into them. I still have like 70% of the stockers left... lots of highway driving. But I might pickup a set for autoX and some light track duty if I don't find anything else.
