wheels scratched

Hi, i took my car to a shop for tire change today. But after I got my car back I saw scratches on all my four wheels. The guy who did the job said he didn't know what happened and he'll contact his manager tomorrow.

Mine is an 09 EVO X. How much does it cost to repair those? The scratches are smooth, though, so they don't look too bad. And if they couldn't be fixed, how much would it cost to replace?

Thank you very much.

First of all, if you're from the USA, you do not have a 09 Evo.

The repair cost is impossible to guesstimate with you providing pictures, because "a little damage, smooth scratches and slight bruising on the upper torso" all mean that there's damage but from words, quite impossible to guess how much of it.

And last, don't bother how much it costs, just sit on the guy who f***ed em up until they take care of it

Wow, very informative!

If this was a tire shop like Sears Auto then you'll have a tough time with this, they'll likely only authorize touch-up paint and being a big organization like that they are willing to dispute.

If they don't feel like being ******, however, they can have the wheels refinished. If there's no real structural damage they can be repainted (the wheels are just painted from the factory anyways).

Replacement costs at dealer price are astronomical ($1000+ for each wheel), yet you can pick up a set off the forums for $1000-1500 depending on condition.

They'll likely do everything in their power to repair the finish vice replacing, and good luck getting a proper refinish and not just touch up paint.
