my alignment numbers
my alignment numbers
I finally got my whiteline roll center kit and alignment done this past weekend at Eurotire in Northern, NJ. I recommend these guys if you're close to this area as they are top notch. You can easily test their work when you see the number of porsche's, corvettes, and BMW's in their parking lot.
Anywho, onto the numbers. Let me know what you guys think.
Front:
Left, Right
Camber - -1.7, -1.6
Toe - 0, 0
Caster - 3.4, 3.6 ( i thought this wasn't adjustable?)
Rear:
Camber - -1.4,-1.3
Toe - .08. .08
I would like to also so they if you have lowered your car, regardless with springs or coilovers, I fully recommend you get the whiteline roll center kit. This really tightened up the front and made the steering feel like stock if not better.

Caster is not adjustable, but their machine probably just prints out the reading by default. The rear camber is a bit more than I like, but not bad. I had -1.5 rear and adjusted back to -1 deg rear and I think the car rotates better. Doesn't understeer as bad imo. Overall, your numbers are fine. If you wanted them to adjust rear camber, they'd also have to adjust rear toe again. I personally go with 0 toe all around. The rear toe-in will make the car a bit more stable on the highway, but I've never had problems with 0 toe all around in all my cars.
camber looks good
, but is there a reason you added toe to the rear? for a DD to keep your tires happy I'd take out that rear toe, if you want a better turn in add 1/8 total (0.06-0.08 each) toe out in the front. cheers

its weird...mitsubishi calls for some toe in on the back...the fronts mitsu recommends 0....but i dunno why they called for toe in on the back
Toe can also be used to alter a vehicle's handling traits. Increased toe-in will typically result in reduced oversteer, help steady the car and enhance high-speed stability. Increased toe-out will typically result in reduced understeer, helping free up the car, especially during initial turn-in while entering a corner.
It's a safety thing for bad drivers.
